The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, on Saturday, toured the Kano Free Trade Zone, a hub to many indigenous manufacturers such as Hamdala Foods, Mufex Wires and Cables, Afrique Ventures, Marshall Biscuits and Marshall Foods, amongst others.

The minister also visited Mamuda Industries, a company that specializes in tanning animal hides, sack production and power generation.

There, he observed how “very hard working” Nigerians are and reaffirmed the ministry, @TradeInvestNG’s commitment to continue to support and promote local production in all possible ways.

Adebayo also stopped at H.E. The Executive Governor of Kano State’s office to pay a courtesy visit to @GovUmarGanduje to thank Him for assisting @TradeInvestNG in achieving the ministry’s mandate of job creation and industrialization drive in Kano State.

While it may seem like the usual tour frequently embarked upon by public figures, Adebayo’s move to inspect progress at these manufacturing centres is critical to the stability and development of trade in Nigeria
