Every day in the past weeks, we have observed the active development around COVID-19 and continued to monitor its impact on our ability to stage a successful exhibition.

Initially, we had hoped that moving the event from April to a later date in the year would have allowed enough time for the respective health and global authorities to get ahead of the pandemic, but since then, we still await a huge milestone.

Today in Nigeria, despite the easing of the lockdown, we face interstate and international travel bans, closure of borders, curfews, social distancing and indefinite ban on large gatherings and there is currently no end in sight.

Also, we understand the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in your company. Some companies have told us about declining sales they are being faced with, others have either stopped production or reduced working hours together with reduced staff strength.

Our exhibitors, partners and our entire team did everything they could to make it happen, but today we have to accept that in 2020 it will not be possible to host west Africa most important industrial event.

Given the dynamic development around Covid-19 and the extensive restrictions on public and economic life, EMWA cannot take place this year.

EMWA 2021 will be held from 27 to 29 April 2021.

We are looking forward to seeing  you!
